Floating widget / Overlay on Android launcher -

Does anybody have any idea how this can be implemented?

Some examples:

  • Any thoughts? Thank you.

    This is done without using an overlay at the top of any existing activity. The source you found here on my website is to prove that the question of Android was on the question of the concept, in which someone who was suffering from a disability and could not swipe to scroll the screen and looking for a way , In which I can tap on the top of the text (actually, its one button) on top of an activity, with the minimum agitation 'Page Up / P Ge down 'show code drawn together for. But due to Android and security work, the scroll event could not be injected into the ongoing activity.

    The way this works, this is the place, to onCreate activity is there

      WindowManager.LayoutParams layOutParams = new WindowManager. LayoutParams (WindowManager.LayoutParams.TYPE_SYSTEM_OVERLAY, WindowManager.LayoutParams.FLAG_WATCH_OUTSIDE_TOUCH, PixelFormat.TRANSLUCENT);

    The flag is needed WindowManager.LayoutParams.TYPE_SYSTEM_OVERLAY and WindowManager.LayoutParams.FLAG_WATCH_OUTSIDE_TOUCH .

    Responsibility is to ensure that touch is being handled which means that touch event 'hits' in any area and what to see during taking action on it. OnTouch event, by placing it in "listening" on for viewing, is that:

      LayoutInflater layOutInflater = (LayoutInflater) getSystemService (LAYOUT_INFLATER_SERVICE); View MyView = layOutInflater.inflate (R.layout.myview, null); MyView.setOnTouchListener (New OnTouchListener () {@ Override Public Boolean On Touch (see V, Motion Event Event) {....}});

    For example, that MyView layout, then using a button widget,

      button myButton = (inside the button Imagine a button) myView.findViewById (R.id.myButton); Rect outRectHit = new Rect (); MyButton.getHitRect (outRectHit);

    Now we need to define 'collision' of the boundaries of touch, which is inside the onTouch handler:

     < Code> float x = event .getX (); Float y = event .getY (); If (exe.> Outreach. Obstructing & amp; amp; amp; exit> outRectHit.right & amp; y & gt; exit.Top & amp; amp; & lt; outRectHit.bottom). Take it accordingly]

    This brief summary describes how to do such activity overlay on top of any activity.

    Just to make sure that the code is debugged and does not interfere with it, any shape or form with any action shown. For example, what happens if the activity is actually an OpenLL game, so what do you do?

    It shows who should be looked for.
