android - How to get rid of the Title Bar without losing the ICS look? -


I tried that googled when readily available: 

  android: theme = "@Android: Style / Theme. No Title"   
 But when I apply it, then it changes the overall theme to pre-ice cream sandwich. That is the gingerbread themed, not the ICS themed, such as  TextView  's,  date picture etc. Any ideas?   
 
 
 setContentView () before it type the onCreate () method:  
 < Code> requestWindowFeature (Window.FEATURE_NO_TITLE);
